Description
Job Objective:
Lead, supervise, and coordinate the company's accounting, tax, and financial operations, ensuring timely and proper regulatory compliance, as well as issuing reliable financial statements to support strategic decision-making for clients and the company.
Key Responsibilities:
Team Supervision: Coordinate and review the work of assigned accounting staff.
Financial Statements: Coordinate monthly and annual accounting closings, ensuring timely issuance of financial statements.
Tax Compliance: Calculate, review, and file tax returns (monthly, annual, and informational) and ensure proper compliance with SAT and other authorities.
Audits: Manage and coordinate internal and external audits.
Cost Control and Budgeting: Collaborate in preparing the annual budget and analyze variances against actual expenditures.
Process Optimization: Implement and improve internal controls and accounting policies to optimize daily operations.
Treasury and Cash Flow: Supervise bank reconciliations and support cash flow forecasting.
What We Are Looking For (Requirements):
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Public Accounting (Professional Title and Professional License are mandatory).
Experience: Minimum of 3–5 years in similar roles (Accounting Manager, Coordinator, or Supervisor).
Technical Knowledge: Solid understanding of Financial Reporting Standards (NIF) and current tax legislation.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software (CONTPAQi, Aspel COI, SAP).
Intermediate–advanced Excel (pivot tables, logical formulas, data cross-referencing).
Soft Skills: Leadership, excellent communication, analytical ability, organizational skills, integrity, and results orientation.
