




ALTEN México, a leading company in engineering and technological consulting, is seeking a **QA Lead Manual Testing (with automation experience)** to join our innovative team. At ALTEN, we work on diverse technology projects across industries such as automotive, finance, telecommunications, and more, delivering customized solutions for our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for **leading the quality assurance strategy**, overseeing both manual and automated testing for web, mobile, and backend products. This position is key to ensuring the **delivery of high-quality solutions**, coordinating the QA team, integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines, and guaranteeing compliance with standards and best practices across all projects. **Main Responsibilities:** * Define and lead the **QA strategy** for each project, including planning, effort estimation, and task assignment. * Supervise the execution of **manual testing** (functional, regression, integration, system, and UAT), ensuring traceability between requirements and test cases. * Build and maintain **automated test suites** for web, mobile, and APIs, and integrate them into CI/CD pipelines. * Review and validate **test cases and results** from the QA team or external vendors, ensuring consistency and coverage. * Implement and ensure compliance with **quality processes, standards, and metrics**, conducting defect tracking and risk management. * Collaborate closely with **development, product, DevOps, and stakeholders**, communicating progress, risks, and quality metrics. * Mentor and train junior testers in **manual testing and automation**, promoting continuous team improvement. Requirements * Minimum of 6–10 years of experience in QA (manual and automation), with at least 2 years in leadership roles. * Strong knowledge of **automation tools** (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium) and API testing (Postman, REST Assured). * Experience integrating tests into **CI/CD pipelines** (preferably Azure DevOps). * Knowledge of **Agile/Scrum methodologies** and SDLC. * Experience with **databases, APIs, JSON/XML, and version control (Git)**. * Excellent **communication, leadership, and team management skills**.
