ALTEN Mexico, a leading engineering and technology consulting firm, is seeking a Junior or Senior Developer & Tester to join our innovative team. At ALTEN, we collaborate on technology projects for industries including automotive, finance, telecommunications, and more, delivering tailored solutions to our clients. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and executing automated and manual tests to ensure the quality of web, mobile, and backend products. You will work closely with development, DevOps, product, and stakeholder teams, ensuring proper documentation, defect tracking, and continuous improvement within agile environments. **Key Responsibilities:** * Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). * Execute functional, regression, integration, and UAT tests according to defined test plans. * Analyze requirements and create detailed test cases to ensure full coverage. * Identify, document, and track defects, providing clear, reproducible steps. * Configure and use continuous integration pipelines (Jenkins, Azure DevOps) to automate testing. * Collaborate with development, product, and DevOps teams to resolve incidents and optimize processes. * Participate in agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives), contributing the QA perspective. * Propose improvements to testing and automation processes to optimize time and reduce errors. **Requirements:** * Minimum experience: Junior level – 2–3 years; Senior level – 3+ years in development and automated testing, preferably with functional testing experience. * Proficiency with API testing tools: Postman, Swagger, or REST Assured. * Strong command of programming languages (Java, Python, C#) and automation frameworks (Selenium, JUnit, TestNG). * Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and the software development lifecycle (SDLC). * Experience with databases, APIs, JSON/XML, and version control (Git). * Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. * English proficiency at B1/B2 level. **Benefits:** * Major Medical Expense Insurance * 15 Days’ Year-End Bonus * Vacation Bonus: 25% * Dental and Vision Insurance * Grocery Vouchers * 12 Vacation Days
