Instructor with advanced proficiency in the German language and verifiable experience in translation, to teach **German Translation I** at the undergraduate level. **German (as a third language)** The goal is for the instructor to guide students in developing linguistic and translation competencies, promoting accuracy, fluency, and cultural understanding throughout the translation process. **Main Responsibilities** * Teach German Translation I and German courses according to the academic curriculum. * Design activities and materials that promote comprehension and application of translation techniques. * Evaluate student performance through practical assignments, exams, and translation projects. * Guide students in using translation tools and terminology resources. * Integrate relevant cultural and linguistic aspects to improve translation quality. * Participate in academic meetings and institutional activities related to the subject.
