




Instructor with advanced proficiency in the German language and verifiable experience in translation, to teach **German Translation I** at the undergraduate level. **German (as a third language)** The goal is for the instructor to guide students in developing linguistic and translation competencies, promoting accuracy, fluency, and cultural understanding throughout the translation process. **Main Responsibilities** * Teach German Translation I and German courses according to the academic curriculum. * Design activities and materials that promote comprehension and application of translation techniques. * Evaluate student performance through practical assignments, exams, and translation projects. * Guide students in using translation tools and terminology resources. * Integrate relevant cultural and linguistic aspects to improve translation quality. * Participate in academic meetings and institutional activities related to the subject. REQUIREMENTS: * **Education:** Bachelor's degree in Foreign Languages, Translation, Applied Linguistics, or related fields. * **Languages:** Proficiency in German (minimum C1 level of the CEFR) * Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience at the undergraduate level. * Professional experience in German\-Spanish and Spanish\-German translation. * Knowledge of translation techniques and methods. * Specialized terminology and linguistic variations of German. * Proficiency in technological tools applied to translation. * Ability to motivate and guide university students.
