Job Profile: Industrial Uniform Pattern Maker Job Objective Design, develop, and adjust patterns for industrial uniform manufacturing, ensuring dimensional accuracy, comfort, functionality, and garment quality in compliance with technical specifications and company-established production guidelines. Education * Technical degree in Garment Industry, Textile Design, Pattern Making, or related fields. * Preferred training in grading, scaling, and industrial garment construction. Experience * Minimum 2 years of experience in industrial garment, uniform, or mass-production apparel pattern making. * Knowledge of pattern creation, modification, and scaling. * Experience working with industrial textiles and garment manufacturing processes. * Preferred experience interpreting technical specification sheets and volume production. Knowledge * Industrial pattern development and grading. * Reading and preparing technical specification sheets. * Industrial cutting and sewing processes. * Garment fitting and fit validation. * Operation of textile industry machinery and processes. * Knowledge of fabrics, tolerances, and material behavior. * Proficiency in specialized pattern-making software such as Lectra, Gerber, Optitex, or similar. * Dimensional control and technical garment specifications. Key Responsibilities * Create base and scaled patterns for industrial uniforms. * Perform pattern modifications and adjustments per production or client requirements. * Produce samples and validate garment fit tests. * Interpret designs, measurements, and technical documentation. * Collaborate with cutting and sewing departments to ensure correct manufacturing. * Verify measurements, proportions, and tolerances during production. * Optimize fabric and material consumption. * Identify and correct deviations in pattern making and garment construction. * Maintain up-to-date technical information for each developed model.
