As a Field Engineer at JBT Marel, you will have the opportunity to diagnose issues, repair, install, and maintain our equipment at customer sites, helping exceed their expectations. The complexity of our machinery will give you the feeling of working with technologies that others can only read about. You will be responsible for providing technical support and delivering solutions to JBT Marel’s customers in the field. This role involves direct interaction with customers, installing, maintaining, and repairing JBT Marel equipment and systems. Additionally, the Field Engineer may deliver technical training to customers and work closely with the sales team to identify growth opportunities and enhance customer satisfaction. On a daily basis: * Perform repairs or recommend repair solutions to customers in the fresh vegetable and fruit processing industry. * Provide assistance for emergency or unscheduled repairs, being available to serve customers on short notice. * Carry out periodic preventive maintenance of equipment, coordinated with customers, including inspections and minor repairs. * Read and interpret equipment manuals to perform required maintenance and service. * Provide technical advice during equipment installation, service, and repair visits, ensuring proper maintenance is carried out. To succeed as a Field Engineer, you need: * A university degree in Engineering or a related field. * Experience in a similar role, preferably within the food processing equipment and systems industry. * Strong communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with customers. * Willingness to travel 80% of the time. \#LI\-DG1
