Ensure the proper design, fabrication, operation, and maintenance of molds used in the expanded polystyrene (EPS) molding process, guaranteeing product dimensional quality, mold availability in the plant, and optimization of their service life through technical, planned, and preventive management **Academic Qualifications** * Mechanical, Mechatronic or Industrial Engineering (preferably with specialization in mechanical design or manufacturing). * Courses or certification in mold design, 3D CAD design, or design for manufacturing. * Desired certification or experience with CAD/CAM/CAE systems (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, NX, CATIA or similar). **Required Experience** * Minimum **3 years of experience** in design, fabrication, or maintenance of molds for plastics, EPS, or injection. * Ability to interpret 2D drawings and blueprints (focused on packaging parts and mechanical metal components). * Proficiency with machinery and tools. * Knowledge of casting processes is preferred. * Technical audits of molds at plant and supplier facilities. * Evaluation and tracking of preventive and corrective maintenance. * Participation in validation of new molds (initial samples, adjustments, release).
