We are seeking a Manufacturing Line Design Engineer to join a strategic project within the automotive industry. This role will be responsible for designing and optimizing manufacturing lines, conducting time studies, documenting processes, and developing layouts, ensuring correct implementation of engineering changes and productivity improvements.
**Main Responsibilities**
* Develop and maintain the Sequence of Events (SOE) for manufacturing processes.
* Conduct time studies and capacity analysis for line balancing.
* Generate and update documentation in OMS (Operation Method Sheets).
* Prepare and track GSOE (Global Sequence of Events).
* Implement shipping densification projects to optimize packaging and transportation.
* Administer and update information in MPP (Manufacturing Process Planner).
* Maintain the PFEP (Plan For Every Part).
* Design and update production line and manufacturing area layouts.
* Coordinate engineering changes and ensure their correct implementation on the shop floor.
* Collaborate with Production, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, and Quality teams to optimize processes and workflows.
**Requirements**
* Industrial, Mechanical, or Manufacturing Engineering degree, or related field.
* Experience in manufacturing line design and layout engineering.
* Knowledge of time studies and line balancing.
* Experience with Sequence of Events (SOE), OMS, and GSOE.
* Familiarity with PFEP and manufacturing process planning.
* Proficiency in CREO, AutoCAD, MPPlanner, and Windchill.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
* Intermediate\-advanced English.
* Analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
* Ability to work in multidisciplinary teams and dynamic environments.
