Our engineering and product innovation help keep soldiers and firefighters safe, is critical in building and keeping communities clean and helps people do their jobs every day.** Position Title: Assembly Production Operator **Description:** Ensure production area objectives by timely and accurate execution of standardized work at your station, adhering to basic safety requirements without compromising product quality. All of the above while maintaining an inclusive culture of teamwork. The operator reports to the production supervisor with a direct line to the *team leader.* **Responsibilities:** Ensure production plan compliance by assembling components correctly, completely, and efficiently according to product specifications. Execute activities described in your Standardized Work Instruction (SWI). Perform tasks in accordance with the Internal Work Regulations (RIT). Wear required personal protective equipment (PPE) 100% of the time. Understand and provide feedback to upstream and downstream workstations regarding defects and product conditions. Perform TPM & crane checklists at the station. Ensure your workstation complies with the 5S standard. Follow instructions from your team leader and production supervisor at all times. Fully comply with all defined operational processes, including scrap reporting, non-conforming material reporting, near-miss reporting, continuous improvement, etc. Report any anomalies occurring in your process or identified at your workstation to the production supervisor.
