Job Summary: We are seeking a UI/UX Designer to conceptualize and design intuitive and engaging digital experiences, integrating into a self-organizing agile team and collaborating with specialists to deliver high-value product increments. Key Highlights: 1. Design of intuitive and visually appealing digital experiences. 2. You will be part of a self-organizing agile team without formal hierarchies. 3. Promote continuous improvement of both the product and the team itself. UI/UX Interface Designer The UI/UX Interface Designer is responsible for researching, conceptualizing, and designing intuitive, accessible, and visually appealing digital experiences for web and mobile products, ensuring interfaces meet real user and business needs. You will join a self-organizing agile team without formal hierarchies, where each person owns their area of expertise and collaborates with development, business, and other specialists to deliver high-value product increments in every sprint. Role Objective * Translate business requirements and user research findings into user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and final designs that maximize user experience. * Bring critical thinking, a champion mindset, and self-management to the design process, driving continuous improvement of both the product and the team. Key Responsibilities * Collaborate with the multidisciplinary agile team to understand and refine user requirements, acceptance criteria, and backlog priorities, contributing design expertise. * Plan and estimate design tasks during sprint planning (Sprint Planning), aligning UX/UI deliverables with sprint goals. * Conduct user research (interviews, surveys, usability testing, analysis of metrics and behavior) and synthesize findings into actionable insights. * Define information architecture, user flows, navigation maps, and journey maps. * Create wireframes, low- and high-fidelity prototypes, and final visual designs for digital products (web, mobile, internal applications, etc.). * Design reusable interface components (buttons, forms, menus, navigation bars, design systems), ensuring visual and functional consistency. * Prepare and present design proposals to stakeholders and the team, justifying decisions based on data, usability principles, and brand guidelines. * Receive feedback from users, team members, and business stakeholders; rapidly iterate on solutions; and validate improvements through A/B testing or usability testing. * Ensure proposed solutions are technically feasible by collaborating with development specialists to achieve faithful and efficient implementation. * Maintain and evolve the style guide, design system, and component libraries. * Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies: Daily Scrum, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Sprint Retrospective, contributing ideas to improve both the product and the working process. Job RequirementsEducation and Experience * Bachelor’s degree or technical studies in Digital Design, Graphic Design, Interaction Design, Systems Engineering, or related field (or equivalent demonstrable experience via portfolio). * Proven experience of at least 1 year as a UI/UX Designer, Product Designer, or similar role, working on digital products within agile environments. * Strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end design processes: research, problem definition, solution exploration, prototyping, testing, and iteration. Technical Skills * Proficiency in design and prototyping tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, or equivalent). * Practical knowledge of user experience principles, usability, user-centered design, and interaction heuristics. * Knowledge of design systems, grids, typography, color theory, iconography, and responsive design. * Ability to build interactive prototypes and navigation flows to validate design hypotheses. * Basic/intermediate knowledge of HTML, CSS, and front-end design to collaborate effectively with the development team. * Familiarity with product metrics (KPIs), analytics, and measurement tools (e.g., Google Analytics, heat map tools, etc.) to assess the impact of design solutions. * Experience working in agile teams, ideally using Scrum, with understanding of its ceremonies, artifacts, and roles. Personal Skills * Self-taught: constant curiosity to learn new tools, design trends, interaction patterns, and emerging technologies; keeps knowledge up-to-date through courses, reading, and continuous practice. * Critical thinking: questions assumptions, analyzes problems from multiple perspectives, formulates hypotheses, and makes evidence-based decisions. * Champion mindset: results-oriented, resilient in adversity, proactive in tackling complex challenges, and accountable for the quality of delivered work. * Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain design decisions to technical and business stakeholders. * Empathy toward users and teammates; skilled at listening, integrating feedback, and building collaborative solutions. * Organizational and time management skills to handle multiple initiatives and meet commitments within each sprint. * Negotiation skills and ability to manage stakeholder expectations, balancing user value, technical feasibility, and business objectives. Success Indicators (Suggested KPIs) * Improvement in user experience metrics (task time, success rate, Net Promoter Score, user satisfaction) following implementation of new features or redesigns. * Reduction in friction across key flows (decreased errors, drop-offs, or support tickets related to the interface). * Adoption level and consistency in use of the design system by the development team. * Achievement of committed design objectives per sprint (user stories, design tasks, deliverables ready for development). Competencies Aligned with an Agile Scrum Team * Close collaboration with a self-organizing multidisciplinary team to align product vision and transform business objectives into clear, valuable user experiences. * Teamwork with specialists from other disciplines (development, business, data, etc.), sharing responsibility for the product increment, experience quality, and team outcomes. * Continuous improvement attitude, proposing adjustments to both the design process and the team’s way of working (inspection and adaptation). * Ability to work iteratively, delivering incremental value and learning in short cycles from user and business feedback. Candidate Profile * A person with a champion mindset who sees problems as opportunities, takes ownership of outcomes, and constantly strives to exceed quality standards. * A self-taught designer passionate about continuous learning, who shares knowledge with the team and brings new ideas, tools, and design practices. * A professional with critical thinking and analytical focus, capable of challenging the status quo, validating assumptions, and making data-driven decisions—without losing sight of creativity and human experience. Employment Type: Full-time Salary: $16,000.00 - $25,000.00 per month Benefits: * Company parking * Option for indefinite-term contract Work Location: On-site
