Together, we are making a difference in the lives of patients around the world. **ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS PERFORMED** * Provides project leadership as assignment from management. * Supervises one or more warehouse activities to meet production, sterilization, delivery and customer requirements while meeting department and productivity goals. * Assigns work according to production and sales demand. * Works with other members of the management team to establish and achieve production and profitability goals. * Responsible for proper inventory procedures and accuracy from receiving raw material through shipping finished goods. * Interface with purchasing and planning to ensure production schedules are met. * Communicates with Customer Service to ensure on\-time shipments and customer satisfaction. * Overseeing or preparing necessary paperwork and reports necessary for the completion of pick sheets and production orders. * Responsible for transportation services to include global transportation and fleet management, and software/cost analysis. * Responsible for safety, maintenance and cleanliness standards in the warehouse areas. * Reviews operational procedures and identifies opportunities to improve work processes and methods. * Supervises Warehouse workers by: * Reviewing work performed and providing feedback regarding performance. * Coordinating work assignments, transfers, promotions and discharges in compliance with company policy. * Performs employee evaluations. * Interview and hires new employees. * Performs other related supervision tasks, as required. **ESSENTIAL PHYSICAL/ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS** * Lifting –Not to exceed 50 lbs. – local practice may apply. * Writing * Sitting * Standing * Bending * Vision * Color perception * Depth perception * Reading * Field of vision/peripheral * Fine motor skills * Noise **SUMMARY OF MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS** * Education and/or experience equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field and five years of supervisory experience, preferably in a warehouse environment. * Demonstrated ability to supervise others in a team setting. * Analytical skills, including the ability to identify improvements in warehousing processes and procedures. * Ability to plan and organize schedules to complete tasks accurately and timely. * Ability to verbally communicate effectively with others. * Ability to train employees and demonstrate tasks to assist new employees to learn correct procedures. * Ability to work effectively as a team member to achieve goals. * Demonstrated computer skills preferably spreadsheets, word processing, database and other applicable software programs. **COMPETENCIES** * Shipping/Receiving/Materials/Transportation supervisory process/work assigning/paperwork/maintenance/quality standards * Personnel supervisory process/performance process/transfers/status changes/salary/ hiring/discipline * Part retrieval/lot number verification * Material flow/handling * Teamwork production/profitability goals * Train material handling/receiving/shipping standards * Work process and method improvement * Computer skills **COMMENTS** Infectious Control Risk Category III: The risk category explains whether or not employees are likely to come into contact with blood or body fluids while performing their jobs.
