




Job Summary: We are seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support food preparation, maintain cleanliness, and assist chefs in dish preparation. Key Responsibilities: 1. Assistance in the pre-preparation of food 2. Maintenance of hygiene and order in the work area 3. Assistance in the preparation and plating of dishes **Job Profile:** **Position:** Kitchen Assistant **Reports to:** Chef **Supervisory Responsibility:** N/A **Gender:** Unrestricted ***Age***: 20 to 40 years old ***Preferably***: Reside in the Northern Zone of Cuernavaca **Education:** Completed junior high school (senior high school or technical degree in gastronomy preferred). **Minimum Experience:** Preferably 6 months to 1 year in kitchen, restaurant, or hotel settings. **Duties and Responsibilities** * Assist in the pre-preparation of food (washing, disinfecting, peeling, and cutting ingredients). * Maintain cleanliness and order in the work area, utensils, and kitchen equipment. * Assist chefs in dish preparation as required. * Wash utensils, pots, pans, and other kitchen equipment used during operations. * Organize and store supplies in refrigerated chambers and storage areas. * Assist in the plating of basic dishes or side dishes. * Comply with food hygiene and safety standards. * Take out garbage and keep waste containers clean. * Report shortages or spoilage of food and supplies. **Knowledge:** * Basic food handling. * Hygiene and cleaning standards in the kitchen. * Basic use of kitchen utensils and equipment. **Skills:** * Teamwork * Organization * Speed and efficiency * Responsibility * Service-oriented attitude Employment Type: Indefinite-term position Salary: $9,000.00 \- $9,452.00 per month Benefits: * Free uniforms Relocation/commuting capability: * 62120, El Monasterio, Mor.: Ability to commute to work without difficulty or willingness to relocate with relocation support package provided by the company (Preferred) Education: * Incomplete or ongoing bachelor’s degree (Preferred) Work Location: On-site employment
