UVM is looking for your talent for the position of **Maintenance Supervisor** **Functions and activities:** * Organize and manage material and human resources to ensure availability of supplies, work tools, and proper staff assignment and supervision to contribute to appropriate facility cleaning. * Jointly define, with the Maintenance Manager, campus cleaning routines that ensure clean facilities in optimal hygienic condition, so that supervised staff clearly understands daily tasks to be performed and executed. * Ensure staff possesses required documentation, has received proper training for their cleaning role, and has uniforms, tools, and materials. * Conduct inspections to verify compliance with cleaning routines and provide feedback to cleaning staff regarding quality of work performed. * Demonstrate a strong sense of urgency in responding to urgent requests arising from campus operations and activate contingency plans when necessary. * Ensure timely management of supplies and materials required to carry out cleaning staff duties/tasks. **Requirements:** Secondary education / Incomplete higher education 3–4 years of prior experience Experience managing personnel Experience managing material resources Field supervision Proficiency using Office software (primarily Excel) Ease of use of mobile and web applications (desirable) Availability to work Monday through Saturday, afternoon shift **Competencies:** Negotiation and Effective Communication Building Interpersonal Relationships Execution of Established Processes Strong customer service orientation, empathy, and commitment to providing responses and solutions Goal-Oriented Work Organization and ability to manage multiple issues simultaneously **Why work at UVM?** We are Mexico’s largest private university, with 60 years of academic experience, social commitment, and professional vision.
