Ensure compliance with quality and safety standards. **JOB PROFILE** **Position:** Production Supervisor – Welding Area **Department:** Production **Reports to:** Production Manager **Supervises:** Welders, General Helpers, Line Leaders **1. PRIMARY FUNCTION:** Supervise and coordinate operational personnel activities in the welding area, ensuring compliance with quality, safety, productivity, and scheduled timelines established in manufacturing processes. **2. JOB DESCRIPTION:** * Plan and assign daily workloads based on production schedules. * Supervise proper use of welding equipment and consumables. * Verify correct application of welding procedures (WPS) for each product. * Ensure compliance with industrial safety and hygiene standards within the area. * Track attendance, downtime, and performance of personnel under supervision. * Train and develop technical skills of newly hired personnel and current team members. * Identify process deviations and implement immediate corrective actions. * Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, and Engineering departments to resolve technical issues. * Actively participate in internal and external audits. **3. RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Ensure products comply with customer drawings and specifications. * Maintain team order, discipline, and productivity. * Report daily incidents and progress to the Production Head. * Achieve assigned efficiency, scrap, and rework targets. **4. MINIMUM POSITION REQUIREMENTS:** 4.1 EDUCATION: * Technical or Engineering degree in Mechanical, Welding, Industrial, or related field. * Certifications in welding processes (preferred: AWS, ASME, etc.). 4.2 EXPERIENCE: * Minimum 3 years supervising production lines in welding processes (SMAW, MIG, TIG). * Demonstrable experience interpreting welding drawings and symbols. * Preferred experience in metal-mechanical industry and custom manufacturing. 4.3 SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE: * Leadership and operational personnel management. * Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies (5S, Kaizen, Lean Manufacturing). * Ability to solve problems on the production floor. * Familiarity with measurement equipment, visual inspection, and destructive/non-destructive testing. * Effective communication and results-oriented mindset. **Benefits and Additional Perks** * Statutory benefits and above. * Major medical expense insurance. * Grocery vouchers. * Savings fund. * 35% vacation bonus. * 30-day year-end bonus.
