Develop and implement warehouse policies to improve efficiency and productivity. **POSITION SUMMARY** * A warehouse supervisor is responsible for overseeing, coordinating, and monitoring daily activity in a warehouse. They work with warehouse employees to monitor and record inventory of what goes in and out of a company's facility. **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including hiring, training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. * Ensure the safety of warehouse staff and promote a culture of safety throughout the warehouse. * Oversee the receiving, storing, and shipping of products, including inventory management and accuracy. * Monitor and maintain inventory levels to ensure that product is available for order fulfillment. * Work with other departments, such as purchasing and sales, to ensure efficient inventory management and timely order fulfillment. * Maintain accurate records of inventory accuracy, material handling damage and warehouse operations. * Ensure compliance with all applicable safety, environmental, quality system and regulatory requirements. * Participate in the development and implementation of warehouse policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity. * Direct support to cycle count program. Monitor excesses and obsolete weekly during each change of order from engineering team. * **QUALIFICATIONS** * High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field preferred. * 4\-8 years of experience in warehouse management or a related field. Knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and shipping and receiving procedures. * **PHYSICAL \& ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDS** * The role is primarily based in a manufacturing facility, requiring regular site visits and interaction with production teams. * Required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE) and adhere to safety protocols. * The role involves extended periods of sitting in front of a computer. * Occasional standing or walking may be required during meetings, presentations, or site visits. Work is primarily conducted in an office environment with controlled temperature and lighting. * **TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED** * May travel to different office or plants locations, client sites, or conferences may be necessary.
