Job Summary:
We are seeking a CSSD Technician to support surgical instrument sterilization and control, ensuring traceability, quality, and compliance with health regulations.
Key Highlights:

We are seeking a CSSD Technician to support surgical instrument sterilization and control, ensuring traceability, quality, and compliance with health regulations.
### **Main Duties and Responsibilities:**
* Apply cleaning and decontamination techniques to instruments and equipment to carry out sterilization, storage, and distribution processes
* Monitor instrument and medical equipment rotation and shelf life to conduct controlled inventories
* Collaborate in implementing and complying with departmental asepsis standards
* Issue loan vouchers for instruments and equipment to other departments, and ensure timely follow-up
* Receive materials and equipment from suppliers for scheduled surgeries, maintaining records in the control logbook
* Distribute instruments and equipment promptly upon request for scheduled surgical procedures
* Receive and clean instruments and equipment used in surgical procedures, using appropriate personal protective equipment; promptly report instrument/equipment damage, losses, or shortages to the supervisor for immediate replacement
* Conduct biological and mechanical tests, recording results of sterilization cycles performed during the shift in sterilization logbooks, and inform the supervisor for monitoring and control of sterilization processes

* Knowledge of cleaning, packaging, and sterilization techniques.
* Basic proficiency in recordkeeping, logbooks, and traceability.
* Availability to work rotating shifts.
