This position is key in the decision\-making process for facility Quality, will mentor, coach and provide strong technical inputs and guidance to the multi\-disciplinary teams from a Quality decision making approach. Will be responsible of designing and maintaining the Quality System in the value streams which involves both a proactive approach to prevent defects and Quality related disruptions as well as accountability to react upon Quality defects to mitigate time and cost impacts. Responsible for overseeing the administration and continuous improvement of quality management systems. **Responsibilities:** * Support the development of effective quality assurance strategies, processes, guidelines, and control plans to maintain the quality and reliability of manufactured products. Ensure alignment with CQMS/ISO. * Lead the implementation of corrective and preventive measures to achieve established quality objectives. * Investigate and address internal and external non\-conformance trends. * Guide, manage, and develop multiple teams, including team leaders, quality specialists, and inspectors, to consistently meet quality standards. * Utilize data\-driven approaches to drive organizational change; review reports with quality assurance, production, management, and engineering personnel to resolve quality issues. **Educational Requirements:** * Bachelor degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Materials, Aeronautics or similar). * Fluent English **Skills:** **Decision Making and Critical Thinking:** * Apply critical thinking to prioritize issues and assess risks. * Organize information for sound decisions. * Coaches and develops the Quality Engineers. **Influencing:** * Build persuasive arguments and communicate ideas, facts and data effectively. * Identify decision makers and adapt communication style. **Lean Manufacturing:** * Review and improve work processes using lean tools and metrics. * Address challenges in implementing lean principles. **Planning and Organizing:** * Performs gap analysis and execute action plan to assure process documentation across the facility. * Break tasks into steps and create efficient plans. * Track progress and resolve scheduling conflicts. **Problem Solving:** * Analyze problems and support risk\-based resolutions. * Use diagnostic tools to find solutions. * Elaborates executive summaries and presents to higher leadership. **Quality Management System (QMS):** * Follow QMS procedures and monitor quality metrics. * Evaluate and review QMS providers and interfaces. * Practical knowledge of APQP concepts; PFMEA, Control Plan, SWES, MSA, etc. * Practical knowledge of measurement equipment. * Able to perform CMM report interpretation. * Previously worked with value stream Quality metrics: PPM, FPY, Scrap, BIQ F/N/M. * Understand the Non\-Conforming Product Management process. * Have performed Layered Process Audits. * Knowledge of software systems: ETQ, SAP, Infinity, AQE. **Relationship Management:** * Respond to clients and design engineers promptly and check satisfaction. * Collaborate to resolve client concerns and clarify roles. **Top Candidates also have:** * Strong functional level of knowledge of: + Engineering drawing reading and CAT 1E specs. + GD\&T, machining operations metrology, assembly process. + Casting and forging common defects. + Statistics in manufacturing. + Effective RCCA. * Master’s in Business Administration (MBA), Engineering, Quality or related to the field. * Certification Lean Six Sigma **Additional Information:** * Location: Cienega de Flores, Nuevo León Facility. * This position is five\-day a week in\-office model.
