Focus on quality systems, audits, PPAP, and process control A Swedish automotive company with a strong quality culture is looking for a **Quality Engineer** to support and maintain the **IATF 16949 Quality Management System** and drive continuous improvement initiatives. This role is focused on quality systems, audits, PPAP, and process control within a manufacturing environment. **Key Responsibilities** * Maintain and control the IATF 16949 Quality Management System * Issue and manage PPAP documentation * Support APQP activities and product validations * Coordinate internal, second-party, and third-party audits * Perform root cause analysis for internal deviations * Execute product, process, and system audits * Follow up on product deviations and change control * Review product specifications and generate part numbers * Participate in continuous improvement activities **Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Materials, Metallurgy, Metrology, or related field * Experience as a Quality Engineer or similar role * IATF 16949 / ISO Internal Auditor * Knowledge of Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, Control Plan) * ERP system management * English proficiency * Office tools (Excel, Word) **Desirable Experience** * 1 year of experience in heat treatment processes. * 3 years of experience in the automotive industry. * Microstructure interpretation. * Destructive testing knowledge. * Experience using microscope, universal testing machine, or metallographic equipment Employment type: Full-time Salary: $34,000.00 - $37,000.00 per month Language: * English (advanced) (Desirable) Work location: On-site employment
