




**Job Description** **Who will you be working with?** In our Torreón facility, you will be responsible for contributing to the locomotive maintenance agreement with the highest quality and within an environment where Safety is our highest priority. **How will you make a difference?** As a **Materials Leader** you will be responsible of assure material availability, Inventory accuracy (warehouse management), planning control, Lean Manufacturing, as well as some other key metrics of the business like: * **Safety**: Always assuring a safety environment following internal procedures and controls for our employees and business partners and fostering a culture that protects the environment and results in zero accidents. GSW (Golden Standard Warehouse) daily execution. * **Warehouse Management:** real\-time inventory tracking (accuracy), efficient receiving, optimized picking/packing/shipping, and robust reporting, supported by technology for accuracy, scalability, and integration with ERP systems (Oracle), alongside key personnel skills in leadership, problem\-solving, and safety compliance. * **Quality**: Impulse the highest Quality of our internal and external suppliers that will become important part of our customer service. * **Production**: Plan accordingly to achieve our goals of delivering the right materials in time avoiding LHFM (Locomotives Held for Materials). * **LEAN:** Promote and apply continuous improvements in our warehouse supported by the Lean manufacturing philosophy: eliminating waste (like excess inventory, motion, waiting, defects) and maximizing value for the customer by streamlining processes, optimizing layout, improving flow, and empowering employees for continuous improvement (Kaizen). **What do we want to know about you?** * Professional career, minimum experience of 5 years in similar roles. Technical Knowledge of Warehouse Operations. * Previous experience in MRPs desirable Oracle, Materials Planning. * Leadership attributes: Teamwork, Integrity, Accountability, Resilience, Communication, Delegation, Vision, Influence. Active Listening * Communication skills: Fluet English. **What will your typical day look like?** * Lead the materials specialists' team to develop efficient and sustainable materials handling that ensures the material flows into the shop and our customers. * Ensure operational alignment with production requirements to execute in compliance with the service goals * Lead to execution on inventory optimization and process improvements to reach inventory goals * Develop plans and programs that assure the adequate material flow for material supply. * Apply existing technologies, approaches, methodologies in new combinations to design new products, systems or processes in accordance to EHS and Quality politics. * Present projects plan; technical roadmaps, risks and recommendations focused on continues improvement. * Communicate solutions across the own function and with cross\-functional partner organizations * Leading, coaching, training and preparing your team. **Additional Information** **What could you accomplish in a place that puts People First?** At Wabtec, it’s not just about a job \- it’s about the impact you make.
