Summary: The Electrical Design Engineer will develop electrical design HDLC units and 2 phase products, contributing to new product releases and solving complex problems. Highlights: 1. Develop electrical designs for HDLC units and 2 phase products. 2. Contribute to the release of new products in a cross-functional group. 3. Solve complex problems where no precedence exists. **POSITION SUMMARY** * The Electrical Design Engineer will develop electrical design HDLC units such as Inrow CDU and In rack CDU as well as 2 phase products. He/she will closely follow objectives of quality, environment and costs working in cooperation with manufacturing engineering, controls engineering, procurement, suppliers, mechanical engineering, and product marketing. The Electrical Engineer will contribute to the release of new products; will work in a cross\-functional development group; manage a variety of tasks and activities in a dynamic environment; and solve complex problems where no precedence exists. * **RESPONSIBILITIES** * Design new and low voltage electrical enclosures (\>240 volts AC). * Harness Design, schematic creation and 3D modeling of wiring and cabling inside equipment. * Experience with CREO Cabling module is preferred. * Capable of understanding various standards of NEC (NFPA70\), CSA/UL, and IEEE to do a proper selection of electrical components that meet agencies requirements. * Collaboration across the disciplines of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, as well as production and offering teams. Work with these teams for design reviews, meeting cost metrics, and brainstorming around customer pain points. * Performs a variety of engineering calculations using traditional engineering methods to verify design requirements * **Extended Responsibilities:** + Create and revise unit wiring schematics and network connection drawings + Create and review electric panel layouts following relevant codes and standards Create and revise wire harnesses + **QUALIFICATIONS** * Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE) or related degree from an accredited college or university * 1 year of experience in hardware development roles. * 1 years of expertise with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) or product documentation management systems. * Demonstrated proficiency in drafting functional requirements and preparing design documentation. * Skilled in using Creo Schematics or equivalent schematic capture software. * Hands\-on experience operating DMMs, logic analyzers, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic instruments.
