Troubleshoot production floor compliance findings and resolve issues Description and details of activities * Compliance \& Test Engineer position will achieve product and engineering compliance by developing and executing compliance programs and completing documentation. * Prevents compliance issues by collaborating with engineering planning and design teams, reviewing design data, and developing compliance policies. * Knowledge of electrical design methodology and practices, researches and identifies applicable regulatory and industry compliance standards and codes (UL, VDE, TUC, CCC, etc.). * Support on generating, following, executing and reporting testing compliance plans by researching, analyzing, selecting, and applying compliance engineering concepts, approaches, techniques, and criteria. * Participation in design reviews, verification, validation and laboratory test of new and existing products and benchmarking studies. * High performer, capable of participating in technical projects execution, demonstrating accountability for successful and timely completion of assigned tasks, corresponding deliverables and product cost targets. * Ability to organize and write detailed technical testing reports from test activities assigned, proactive, application of technical lessons observed, self\-learning and self\-motivated. * Determines compliance by establishing compliance test standards, conducting and witnessing tests, performing diagnostic procedures, measuring performance, analyzing and evaluating findings, and performing forensic analysis and troubleshooting of failures. * Troubleshooting production floor compliance findings through analytical thinking, by isolating and resolving compliance issues, recommending product and process changes, and initiating engineering change orders. * Documents compliance by completing approval applications, recording test results, preparing investigative reports, preparing, and filing Declarations of Conformity, and maintaining compliance database. Experience and requirements * 3\+ years of experience in product electrical testing in a manufacturing environment, preferably in compliance. * BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent. * Knowledge in printed circuit boards, hands\-on laboratory experience to test and verify the performance of existing/new product designs and systems. * Understanding of regulatory frameworks. * Knowledge of production planning, manufacturing methods and procedures and quality control. * Ability and experience interpreting and writing Schematics Diagrams, Tests Instructions and Electrical Product Architecture Drawings. * Good communication, attitude and team work skills * Proficiency in English (80%), knowledge of MS Office * Experience or knowledge in UL508, IEC 60947 and other standards related to power electronic devices is a plus. * U.S. Visa * Experience with Engineering Change Orders (ECO) processes, generation of BOM structures, and New Products introduction is a plus. * Excellent communication and team work skills.
