FUNCTIONS: **An automotive mechanical technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing the mechanical and electrical components of vehicles**. To do so, they must perform diagnostics, determine how to resolve issues, carry out tasks, and verify results. They must also install and test electronic and fuel systems, and conduct safety tests.
