




Summary: This role is for a technical specialist in automation, leading and mentoring within manufacturing disciplines and driving continuous improvement activities. Highlights: 1. Serve as a technical specialist, leader, and mentor in manufacturing automation. 2. Lead continuous improvement activities within engineering disciplines. 3. Provide customer service leadership in technical discussions and proposals. **Purpose Statement:** The automation team identifies, develops, deploys, and maintains automation solutions across the Plexus value stream to improve quality, efficiency, and velocity in Plexus manufacturing operations, encompassing design, development, analysis, production, and commercialization. **Key Job Accountabilities:** * Regarded as a "go to" technical specialist, leader and mentor within their manufacturing discipline; and/or regarded as a cross\-discipline leader and mentor for product / process development, process improvement or troubleshooting within site/ region, as it applies to their role. * Serves as a technical and/or project team lead providing technical guidance/ training, controlling scope, schedule, budget and ensuring overall technical success on small to mid\-size Plexus Manufacturing Processes, as it applies to their role. * Leads continuous improvement activities associated with their engineering discipline and/or project\-level tools or processes, as it applies to their role. * Provides customer service leadership in project technical discussions, business continuity and new proposal creation. **Education/Experience Qualifications:** * Bachelor’s Degree with 8 or more years of related experience is preferred.
