Exploration and adoption of emerging AI technologies **Role Summary** We are seeking a Technical Leader with experience in developing and leading data and artificial intelligence solutions. This role combines advanced technical expertise with strategic leadership to guide teams in creating innovative products that harness the power of data and AI. The ideal candidate will be responsible for defining technical architecture, overseeing solution implementation, and ensuring alignment with business objectives. **Key Responsibilities** * Define, oversee, and design the technical architecture of data- and AI-based solutions, establishing technological vision and selecting appropriate tools and frameworks. * Lead cross-functional teams in designing, developing, and operating machine learning, generative AI, and natural language processing solutions, including microservices and event-driven architectures. * Collaborate with the MLOps team to validate the model lifecycle: training, validation, CI/CD deployment, monitoring, and retraining. * Deploy and integrate chatbots on WhatsApp, including familiarity with per-message pricing models, message categorization (marketing, authentication, utility), and seamless integration with human agents for escalation and resolution. * Actively collaborate with product, business, and UX teams to translate strategic requirements into scalable, sustainable technical solutions. * Ensure technical quality by promoting best development practices, code reviews, definition of standards, and performance metrics. * Explore and adopt emerging AI technologies (supervised/unsupervised models, anomaly detection, graph analytics, generative AI), staying current with industry trends and best practices. * Ensure data governance and security, complying with privacy policies, access controls, and regulatory requirements. **Requirements** * Proven experience (5+ years) leading AI, data science, or advanced analytics projects, including at least 2 years working with LLMs or generative AI. * Experience designing and implementing anomaly detection and behavioral pattern recognition solutions, especially in risk or fraud contexts. * Strong knowledge of supervised and unsupervised machine learning (regression, decision trees, clustering, SVM, boosting, etc.). * Proficiency in Python and machine learning frameworks such as Scikit-Learn, PyTorch, and TensorFlow. * Experience in backend architecture, microservice design, REST APIs, relational databases (PostgreSQL, SQL Server), NoSQL databases (MongoDB, Neo4J, etc.), and asynchronous messaging (Kafka, RabbitMQ, etc.). * Familiarity with the WhatsApp Business ecosystem: official API, message categories, pricing model, and cost-optimization strategies. * Experience designing and implementing microservices and event-driven architectures. * Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD, monitoring systems, and ML training and continuous deployment pipelines. * Solid understanding of NLP techniques, anomaly detection, and graph theory, with practical application in enterprise solutions. * Hands-on mindset, with ability to lead technically while actively participating in coding, model review, and architecture definition. **Plus / Desirable (Nice to Have)** * Experience implementing multicloud solutions on Azure, AWS, and (desirable) GCP. * Implementation of data governance and data security. * Implementation of production ML/AI pipelines, including automated monitoring and retraining. * Proficiency in multiple programming languages such as C# (.NET), Java, and Golang. * Implementation of data monetization models. * Knowledge of graph theory applied to community detection, entity relationship analysis, and complex network analysis. **Benefits** * Opportunity to develop innovative products focused on AI and data. * Culture of engineering best practices, modern architecture, and collaborative work. * Opportunities for technical growth and continuous learning. * Remote or hybrid work model. **Remote from Mexico / Hybrid (CDMX or Guadalajara)**
