Job Summary: We are seeking an expert TIG Welder skilled in stainless steel/aluminum, capable of reading engineering drawings and AWS symbols, and experienced in handling tungsten electrodes and filler rods. Control of parameters, sanitary finishes, and self-quality control. **SALJAMEX IS SEEKING** Position: **TIG Welder** Requirements **Experience:** * 2–3 years of TIG welding experience on stainless steel/aluminum; ability to read engineering drawings/isometric drawings and AWS symbols. * Proficiency in handling **tungsten** (2% lanthanum/cerium), filler rods ER308L/ER316L/ER5356, and 99.99% purity argon gas. * Preferred: ISO 9606-1 or ASME IX certification for TIG welding; experience in sanitary piping (food-grade applications). * Knowledge of welding safety and inert atmosphere handling. * Familiarity with tools such as angle grinders, welding machines, welding helmets, oxy-fuel cutting equipment, bench grinders, band saws, sheet metal brakes, and sheet metal rollers. **Responsibilities:** * Preparation: beveling, fine grinding, **cleaning** (acetone), and exclusive use of stainless-steel-specific brushes. * **Internal argon purging** of piping (using plugs/dams) to prevent root oxidation. * Welding in positions 1G–6G; AC (aluminum) / DC (stainless steel). Parameter control: amperage, gas flow rate (* 10–18 L/min), tungsten diameter and tip geometry.
