Job Title: Mold Assistant (Mold Technician) Education: Technical degree in Machinery and Tools Department: Molds Reports to: Mold Supervisor Position Type and Salary: Operational, unionized level, $531 daily, shift rotation – requires a technical background in Machinery and Tools, preferably with experience in molds. Summary: The primary responsibility of the Mold Assistant is to support core activities within the Molds Department and ensure safety during mold operations throughout their shift. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential duties and responsibilities. * Complete mold assembly traceability forms. * Monitor supplies in the mold shop. * Adhere to company safety standards. * Follow global RHIM guidelines. * Maintain 6S standards in the Molds Department. * Assist in mold assembly. Skills and Experience: * Operation of forklifts. * Technical knowledge and hands-on experience with grinders, lathes, and workshop tools. * Organizational skills. * Problem-solving skills. * Basic knowledge of 6S.
