Teamwork and effective communication with clients **General Maintenance Technician** **Job Objective:** Perform preventive and corrective maintenance tasks across industrial and commercial facilities of various clients, ensuring operational continuity, safety, and efficiency of the properties. The technician must possess multifunctional skills and be available to travel between different locations. **Primary Responsibilities:** * Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical, hydraulic, sanitary, air conditioning (A/C), painting, metalwork, plumbing, and other systems. * Respond promptly and effectively to service requests. * Diagnose faults and propose technical solutions. * Prepare work reports including photographic evidence and service logs. * Travel to different branches and/or client properties as scheduled daily or during emergencies. * Safely operate manual and electric tools. * Comply with industrial safety and hygiene standards. **Candidate Profile Requirements: Education:** * Technical degree in Maintenance, Electromechanics, Electricity, Refrigeration, or related field. * Additional certifications in specific areas (desirable). * And/or completed secondary education. **Experience:** * Minimum 2 years of general maintenance experience in industrial or commercial environments. * Proven experience in at least 3 of the following areas: electricity, masonry, plumbing, painting, air conditioning, welding, carpentry, drywall, etc. **Technical Knowledge:** * Diagnosis and repair of low-voltage electrical systems. * Maintenance of mini-split and/or packaged air conditioning systems. * Reading of basic blueprints. * Operation of tools and measurement equipment. **Skills:** * Sense of urgency and problem-solving ability. * Teamwork. * Effective communication with clients and supervisors. * Organization and punctuality. **Additional Requirements:** * **Valid driver’s license, Class A or B (as per state or country).** * Proven experience operating standard vehicles. * Availability to travel within the region (as required by clients). * Availability to work outside regular hours in case of emergencies. **Working Conditions:** * Schedule: Full-time. * Work mode: Field-based, with base at warehouse or central office. * Tools and vehicle provided by the company. * Competitive salary. * Uniform and personal protective equipment (PPE) provided.
