Management and oversight of unionized cleaning staff We are looking for your talent as a Cleaning Supervisor with: High School Diploma Experience as a cleaning supervisor in a similar role (e.g., housekeeping supervisor, waitress, or related position) Service-oriented attitude Customer service attention Responsibilities: Supervise and verify cleaning services in campus spaces and areas, as well as solid waste collection and transportation according to operational plans (routes, frequencies, schedules, etc.), to prevent health and environmental risks. Functions: * Coordinate and supervise cleaning services to meet campus area requirements and needs. * Manage and oversee unionized cleaning staff. * Supervise and schedule cleaning tasks for the campus. * Supervise and monitor staff attendance, reporting any incidents to management. * Schedule and supervise staff work assignments according to routine cleaning, special events, and general cleaning requirements. * Oversee human and material resource processes. * Review tool inventories to ensure proper execution of tasks. * Review functions inherent to the supervisor’s area of responsibility as directed by management. * Administer resources assigned to the cleaning service. * Monitor assigned activity schedules for cleaning control across various university areas and maintain corresponding follow-up. * Guide cleaning staff in carrying out assigned tasks. * Determine priority areas requiring cleaning and assign them to staff under supervision, ensuring fair and equitable workload distribution. * Receive reports from immediate supervisor regarding cleaning needs across different institutional areas. Submit daily reports containing relevant operational information. * Supervise and control assigned resources (equipment or others) used in delivering cleaning services. * Establish priorities prior to assigning tasks to staff, based on directives received from the immediate supervisor. * Supervise cleaning activities performed by subordinate staff and provide appropriate follow-up. * Inspect and evaluate task completion by staff under supervision. * Prepare and submit periodic reports on performed activities to the immediate supervisor. * Ensure staff under supervision have required cleaning materials and equipment to perform their duties. * Ensure assigned tasks are delivered promptly and efficiently by supervised staff, adhering to established rules and procedures. * Supervise compliance with safety measures during assigned task execution. * Maintain order in work equipment and sites, reporting any anomalies. * Perform all additional duties assigned within the scope of this position beyond those explicitly outlined. Shift availability: Monday to Friday, 7:00–16:00 or 12:00–21:00; Saturday, 7:00–15:00 or 11:00–19:00; Monday to Friday, 22:00–6:30.
