Experience in quality control in the textile or manufacturing industry We are a Mexican textile company with a long-standing track record in the industry, seeking a **Quality Engineer**, a professional responsible for ensuring the quality of production processes and finished products, guaranteeing compliance with specifications, regulations, and quality standards in the manufacturing of elastic and rigid tapes. **Location:** Jilotepec, Mex. **Requirements:** * Industrial Engineering, Textile Engineering, or Quality Engineering degree. * Availability to work on-site at the plant. * Preferably residing near the area or willing to relocate. * Minimum 2 years of work experience in quality, preferably in the textile or manufacturing industry. * Experience in quality control of production processes. * Proficiency in raw material, in-process, and finished product inspections. * Preparation of reports, analysis of non-conformities, and corrective actions. **Knowledge and Skills** * Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 preferred). * Statistical Process Control (SPC). * Interpretation of technical data sheets and product specifications. * Quality tools (5S, Ishikawa, Pareto, FMEA preferred). * Internal quality audits. * Handling of quality indicators and reports. * Attention to detail. * Problem analysis and resolution. * Organization and follow-up. * Effective communication. * Teamwork. * Results-oriented mindset and continuous improvement. **Functions and Responsibilities** * Design and implement tests. * Identify and define corrective measures. * Monitor quality control matrices. * Review requirements such as specifications and technical design documents. * Develop test plans. * Plan and coordinate testing activities.
