




Position Summary: We are seeking an Operational Coordinator to supervise personnel, ensure facility operations, manage vendors, and guarantee club safety. Key Highlights: 1. Leadership and problem-solving **FITSI MERIDA** is looking for an **Operational Coordinator** who wishes to join our team. **Requirements:** * Administrative degree program — currently enrolled or graduated. * Experience managing maintenance, cleaning, and staff personnel. * Minimum one year of experience in operational coordination or assistant management, preferably in sports clubs. **Responsibilities:** Supervise operational area personnel; oversee club shifts—either opening or closing—and be responsible for maintenance and cleaning staff; interact with vendors; track purchase orders; validate personnel data for payroll incidents. Ensure proper facility operation at all times. **Area-specific Responsibilities:** **Customer Service:** * Follow up on user complaints and suggestions to ensure satisfaction. **Maintenance:** * Ensure proper club operation, including locker rooms, fitness areas, meeting rooms, reception, sales, swimming pool, and equipment. * Coordinate with cleaning and maintenance staff. * Conduct inspections across various club areas. * Delegate, supervise, and ensure shift-assigned tasks are completed. **Safety:** * Monitor and implement Safety and Civil Protection programs. * Activate emergency procedures in the event of an incident. **Supervision:** * Review logs with area supervisors. * Supervise work performed by maintenance staff, general services staff, trainers, receptionists, and sales staff. **Reporting:** * Opening and closing checklists. * Inspections. * Development and follow-up of work plans with general services and maintenance staff. * Management of preventive equipment maintenance via internal control logs. * Maintenance and supply inventories to optimize budgetary resource efficiency. **Personnel Management:** * Conduct interviews to fill vacancies. * Handle payroll incidents. * Hold effective meetings with staff. **Required Skills:** * Leadership * Effective Communication * Problem-Solving * Time Management * Decision-Making **Professional Competencies:** * Customer Service * Knowledge of Operational Processes * Data Analysis and Evaluation * Adaptability and Flexibility * Ethics and Professionalism **Rotating Shift Schedule:** Availability required for rotating shifts: 05:00–13:00, 10:00–18:00, and/or closing shift 17:00–00:00 Monday through Friday; Saturday and Sunday availability from 07:00–20:00; 8-hour shifts with one weekend day off. **Work Location: FITSI MERIDA Address:** C. 54 369, Benito Juárez Nte., 97119 Mérida, Yuc., Mexico Position Type: Full-time, Indefinite-term contract Salary: $14,100.00 per month Benefits: * Discounts and preferential pricing * Option for indefinite-term contract * Gym membership * Complimentary uniforms Workplace: On-site employment
