Objective
Implement an Occupational Medical Service that provides containment and follow-up care to ensure the well-being of our employees.
Requirements
* Degree and license as a general physician.
* Minimum 1 year of experience in occupational health.
* Proficiency level in computer tools.
* Communication skills.
* Experience managing on-site first-aid teams.
Responsibilities
* Daily first-contact medical care for general illnesses and medical emergencies within the facilities.
* Medical treatment for general and occupational illnesses (including prescription issuance).
* Guide employees on how to utilize services provided by their family medicine unit and/or specialized units.
* Conduct occupational medical examinations for new hires and periodic evaluations; analyze results and develop action plans accordingly.
* Ensure compliance with current corporate and national occupational health and safety regulations.
* Develop and monitor implementation of the Annual Occupational Health Program to verify execution of actions and standardization of health and hygiene programs focused on preventing occupational and general illnesses.
* Analyze and prepare monthly and/or statistical reports and charts related to occupational health (consultations, disabilities, examinations, accidents, relevant ST7 forms, etc.).
* Propose action plans based on identified site-specific statistics or problems.
* Participate in investigations of causes of injuries and/or illnesses occurring at the company, and manage and report safety incidents.
* Prepare medical reports, follow up on incident cases, and provide appropriate medical recommendations.
* Support training for on-site first-aid teams and organize emergency medical drills.
* Implement health campaigns (e.g., vaccination and prevention of general illnesses).
* Manage the first-aid kit and emergency medical bag, ensuring they remain fully operational for any emergency. Perform regular functionality checks on automated external defibrillators (AEDs) located on-site and periodically report their status.
* Administer and maintain inventory of medications and medical supplies for the occupational medical service.
* Participate in local safety and health committees.
* Conduct on-site ergonomic assessments and related risk analyses.
* Manage the on-site first-aid team, from internal training through coordination of external certification providers.
* Deliver employee training sessions and talks on disease prevention, ergonomics, Honeywell health standards, applicable health regulations or legislation, etc.
* Conduct medical examinations at branch offices (travel allowances provided)
