**Position Summary:** **Baja Rehab** is seeking a highly qualified **Bilingual Clinical Nurse (English and Spanish)** to join our multidisciplinary team. The selected candidate will be responsible for delivering comprehensive nursing care to patients within a structured residential setting. This includes medication administration, vital signs monitoring, support during medical assessments, and accompaniment throughout the detoxification and recovery process. The position requires close collaboration with medical and psychiatric staff to ensure safe, effective, and holistic care for each patient. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Patient Care and Monitoring:** Provide direct nursing care, assessing and monitoring patients’ physical and emotional status. Report any significant changes to the medical and clinical team. * **Medication Administration:** Administer medications safely and accurately per medical orders and internal protocols. Maintain up-to-date records and inventory control. * **Medical Support and Coordination:** Assist physicians and psychiatrists during evaluations, treatments, and emergencies. Ensure accurate documentation of all performed medical procedures. * **Detoxification and Stabilization Support:** Provide compassionate care to patients undergoing detoxification, ensuring their safety, well-being, and adherence to established medical protocols. * **Patient Education:** Guide patients on their treatment plan, proper medication use, hygiene practices, and healthy habits that support their recovery process. * **Clinical Records and Documentation:** Maintain complete and accurate nursing notes, vital signs logs, incident reports, and progress updates in each patient’s medical record. * **Collaboration with Clinical and Psychiatric Team:** Work collaboratively with psychologists, counselors, and psychiatrists to ensure holistic care. Participate in case conferences and contribute to treatment plan development. * **Infection Control and Safety:** Maintain high standards of hygiene and infection control across all areas.
