Position Summary: We are seeking an experienced Canine Stylist with a genuine love for pets, capable of performing commercial grooming cuts, cleaning, and handling dogs of various breeds. Passion for working with animals and providing excellent customer service **CANINE STYLIST** KIRA Canine Style – Grooming & Boarding We seek dedicated individuals with deep affection for pets and a minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial grooming. ***WE OFFER:*** * Social Security insurance. * Base salary. * Commission per dog. * Salary: $9,200.00 per month. * **SCHEDULE:** Monday to Sunday, with one weekday day off; two rotating shifts from 8 AM to 8 PM. * ***EXPERIENCE:*** * Minimum 2 years of verifiable experience and/or certification. * ***SKILLS:*** * Passion for working with animals. * Gentle and professional handling of both animals and customers. * Experience handling dogs of various sizes, breeds, and temperaments. * Ability to calm nervous dogs to bathe and groom them effectively. * ***KNOWLEDGE:*** * Commercial grooming styles tailored to breed specifications. * Scissor cutting techniques. * Asian-style cuts. * Canine nail trimming. * Anal gland expression. * Ear cleaning. * Dental cleaning (tooth brushing). * Use of canine grooming tools and products. * Basic veterinary knowledge. * ***RESPONSIBILITIES:*** * Receiving dogs for bathing and grooming. * Performing clipper or scissor cuts on pets. * Customer service and consultation. * Educating clients on proper canine care and maintenance. * Maintenance and care of grooming equipment. * Keeping the work area clean. * General cleaning of the facility.
