About HERMA HERMA is a company dedicated to the manufacturing and installation of visual communication, signage, wayfinding systems, commercial furniture, and point-of-sale materials. The company develops projects for retail chains, shopping malls, and corporate clients, covering everything from manufacturing engineering development to in-plant production and on-site installation. HERMA is currently undergoing an operational structuring and growth phase and is therefore seeking to hire a Production Manager with solid manufacturing experience who can structure productive processes, lead plant teams, and build an efficient and scalable operation. Position Mission The Production Manager will be responsible for leading HERMA’s production operation, implementing formal manufacturing processes, controlling interdepartmental workflow, and ensuring that each approved project translates into efficient manufacturing, on-time delivery, and production quality. This position requires a combination of manufacturing engineering expertise, plant leadership, process control, and the ability to organize growing production operations. Responsibilities: Production Engineering * Development of detailed shop drawings and fabrication cut lists. * Definition of technical production specifications. * Determination of materials, fastening systems, and manufacturing processes. * Conversion of commercial projects into executable engineering for production. * Technical validation prior to production release. Responsibilities: Production Planning * Development of the weekly production schedule. * Assignment of workloads within the workshop. * Prioritization of production orders based on commercial commitments. * Control of manufacturing lead times. * Monitoring progress of active orders. Responsibilities: Production Orders Each project must have a structured production order including: * Fabrication drawings. * Bill of materials. * Production processes. * Area-specific responsible personnel. * Start and delivery dates. * Production release control. Responsibilities: Interdepartmental Coordination The Production Manager will be responsible for coordinating operational flow among the following departments: * Commercial Department * Engineering * Procurement * Warehouse * Production * Installation The objective is to prevent operational bottlenecks, reduce rework, and ensure continuity in the manufacturing process. Responsibilities: Material Control Supervision of: * Raw materials warehouse. * Finished goods warehouse. Specific Responsibilities: * Inventory control. * Material validation prior to release to production. * Material issuance control per production order. * Traceability of materials used per project. Responsibilities: Quality Control Implementation of quality controls at: * Material receipt. * Manufacturing processes. * Finished product. The objective is to ensure compliance with technical specifications, finish quality, and reduction of rework. Professional Profile Preferred Academic Background: * Industrial Engineering * Mechanical Engineering * Mechatronics Engineering Technical architecture profiles with strong manufacturing experience will also be considered. Minimum Required Experience: * 8 years in manufacturing or production operations.
