Supervise and train staff At Grupo Pixca, we seek talent. **Creative Pastry Chef** Plan, organize, and manage the production bakery regarding the preparation, presentation, and distribution of desserts, cakes, and general baked goods to consumption centers and banquets, ensuring compliance with the company’s quality and hygiene standards. **Responsibilities:** * Ensure adherence to standard recipes to meet quality standards, thereby preparing cakes, tarts, pies, or various daily desserts according to recipes and quality standards. * Review service orders jointly with pastry and bakery assistants to coordinate daily tasks. * Prepare all assigned bakery products on time according to quality standards and quality control requirements. Inspect flavor, temperature, and appearance of food items. * Supervise cleanliness of the work area and kitchen utensils to ensure hygienic handling of products and established quality controls. * Supervise the use and reuse of products and ingredients, as well as their * storage, to avoid unnecessary waste. * Know and apply sanitation guidelines in accordance with Distintivo H standards applicable to kitchen and restaurant staff. * Inspect food deliveries to ensure compliance with established quality levels. * Ensure menu variety by offering local and seasonal specialties, and supervise the creation of attractive food displays. * The position holder is responsible for supervising and training pastry and bakery staff. Attendance at menu tastings is recommended to advise clients on product quality and presentation, originality, and decoration. * Attend weekly meetings for banquet planning and feedback. * Prepare warehouse requisitions and purchase requisitions for supplies.
