





**General Description** We are a chain of cafés and specialty tea houses focused on organic bakery and pastry. We are seeking an **Accounting Manager** responsible for ensuring accurate recording of accounting transactions, tax compliance, and administrative–financial control to maintain healthy and efficient operations. **Position Purpose** To record, verify, and reconcile the company’s accounting and tax transactions, ensuring reliable financial information, fulfillment of tax obligations, and administrative support for operational departments. **Key Responsibilities** Manage the full accounting cycle: journal entries, reconciliations, accruals, monthly and annual closings. * Prepare and submit financial statements: Balance Sheet, Income Statement, and Cash Flow Statement. * Supervise proper accounting classification of revenues, expenses, inventories, and costs. * Ensure correct implementation of electronic accounting and CFDI stamping. * Establish and update accounting and administrative policies. * Oversee monthly and annual tax filings (Income Tax, VAT, DIOT, withholding taxes). * Coordinate compliance with SAT, IMSS, INFONAVIT, and other regulatory authorities. * Prepare documentation for internal and external audits. * Identify tax risks and propose preventive actions. * Generally supervise cash flow control. * Supervise adherence to payment schedules and financial obligations. * Ensure bank reconciliations and transaction records are accurately integrated into the accounting system. *(Does not perform treasury operational functions—only general supervision.)* * Design, evaluate, and improve internal controls over procurement, inventory, cash handling, production, and sales. * Supervise cash register closings, physical cash counts, and loss control at branch locations. * Verify administrative and accounting documentation to ensure integrity and accuracy. * Analyze cost, expense, and operational efficiency variances. * Manage the overall budget and review deviations. * Prepare financial and operational reports for senior management. * Participate in growth strategies, new branch openings, and unit-level profitability analysis. **Desirable:** Experience in food companies, restaurants, cafés, or retail. **Educational Requirements** * Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (degree conferred). **Experience** * Minimum **5 years** in general accounting. * Experience in retail, food, or restaurant industries (desirable). **Technical Knowledge** * General accounting and fundamental accounting standards. * Monthly tax filings and tax obligations. * Inventory and cost control. * Bank reconciliations. * Management of accounts payable/receivable. * Intermediate–advanced Excel skills. * Accounting systems or ERP software. * **Desirable:** Familiarity with industry-specific software WANTSOFT, EL CHEF, Soft Restaurant, etc. **Competencies** * Organization and attention to detail * Handling of confidential information * Numerical analysis * Administrative compliance and discipline * Effective communication * Teamwork * Sense of urgency * Honesty and integrity **Offer** * **Salary:** Commensurate with experience ($25,000–$30,000 NET MONTHLY). * Statutory benefits * Free cafeteria service * Brand discounts * Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–5:00 PM; Saturday, 8:00 AM–1:00 PM Employment type: Full-time Salary: $25,000.00–$30,001.00 per month Benefits: * Cafeteria service Education: * Completed bachelor’s degree (Mandatory) Experience: * General accounting: 5 years (Mandatory) Work location: On-site employment
