This includes, but is not limited to, the creation of infographics, interactive and static graphics for video and social media. The designer will contribute to shaping Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) Mexico and Central America’s identity across multiple platforms and channels, ensuring compliance with brand guidelines. Strengthen our visual communications. The goal is to expand reach and awareness of MSF, increase social media engagement and website traffic, and inspire greater financial support and other forms of public participation. **RESPONSIBILITIES:** * Plan and execute multimedia projects from conceptualization through final production, ensuring quality, adherence to deadlines, and alignment with project and departmental objectives. * Provide graphic design support to the Digital Unit and Communications, Fundraising, Medical, and Human Resources departments to establish a unified visual style for MSF Mexico and Central America’s content across diverse platforms, and to develop distinctive graphics for campaigns and special projects. * Serve as the expert on MSF Mexico and Central America’s visual brand, maintaining digital and print brand guidelines. * For graphic design, create visual assets in various formats for social media, the website, campaigns, and printed materials, ensuring consistency with MSF’s visual identity. * For illustration, develop illustrations for use in digital content and internal and external materials. * Produce 2D animations to highlight stories of our staff and patients, or to enhance other AV materials produced by the department. * In the absence of other Audio-Visual Officers or during high-volume workloads, assume responsibility for editing social media videos—including editing, integrating graphics, subtitles, music, and animations—as required. * Animate graphics and visual elements to create dynamic visual presentations according to the needs of the various strategies being developed by the Digital Unit. * Provide support to other teams and departments—including Events, Medical Publications, Field Human Resources, and the MSF Mexico and Central America Association—to assist them in their work and act as liaison with design consultants and other vendors when necessary. * Propose ways graphics could be used to enhance MSF Mexico and Central America’s storytelling capacity and increase the impact of our digital and printed content. * Collaborate with the Campaigns team to design and produce graphics that advance fundraising objectives—including paid social advertising, digital banner ads (static, animated, and interactive), and other interactive website elements. * Produce impactful graphics—including infographics, interactive graphics, and motion graphics—to improve understanding of complex concepts, medical data, and other information—through clear, compelling, and accurate visuals. * Oversee field activities to ensure MSF Mexico and Central America are appropriately represented in communication materials, by reviewing MSF reports and updates, regularly attending office presentations, program briefings, etc. * Participate in strategic meetings regarding content production and dissemination. * Identify ways to improve how MSF Mexico and Central America’s work is presented on digital platforms to increase engagement. * Stay current with emerging technologies and trends in digital media and the design industry. * Attend relevant trainings and workshops to improve performance and understanding of the role, build skills and capabilities, and learn how others are using graphics in their work. * Collaborate with Innovation and Campaigns teams to design attractive, user-friendly user interfaces, ensuring an exceptional user experience. **REQUIRED PROFILE** **Requirements:** * Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, Multimedia Design, or related field **Experience:** * Minimum 4 years’ experience as a graphic and multimedia designer. * Experience in a non-profit organization and/or media organization is desirable. **Language:** * English B1 * French B1 (desirable) **Technical Skills:** * Proficiency with graphic design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and editing tools (Premiere Pro, After Effects). * Mastery of animation techniques and multimedia content creation. * Knowledge of responsive design and adapting content to different devices. * Ability to work in digital and collaborative design environments. * Awareness of current trends in design, video, and user experience. * Strong written and oral communication skills;
