Application of good laboratory practices and safety Chemical Laboratory Technician **Department** Laboratory / Quality / Production **Job Objective** Perform chemical, physical, and/or physicochemical analyses of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products to ensure compliance with the company’s established quality specifications and standards. **Education** * Industrial Chemical Technician, Chemical Laboratory Technician, or * Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field. **Experience** * 1–2 years in a chemical laboratory (preferably in industry). * Proficiency in operating laboratory equipment. * Experience in physicochemical analysis. **Knowledge** * Good laboratory practices. * Handling of chemical substances. * Preparation of solutions and reagents. * Chemical analysis techniques. * Operation of laboratory equipment (pH meter, analytical balance, spectrophotometer, etc.). * Laboratory safety and hygiene regulations. * Basic Excel proficiency and result recording. **Main Responsibilities** * Perform chemical analyses of raw materials, in-process products, and finished products. * Record and report laboratory test results. * Prepare required solutions and reagents for analyses. * Maintain laboratory order and cleanliness. * Verify proper functioning of laboratory equipment. * Comply with safety, quality, and internal procedures. * Assist in preparing technical reports. **Skills** * Attention to detail * Organization * Teamwork * Data analysis * Responsibility * Ability to follow procedures **Competencies** * Analytical thinking * Operational discipline * Quality orientation * Technical information management **Working Conditions** * Laboratory-based work. * Handling of chemical substances. * Mandatory use of personal protective equipment.
