Maintenance of discipline and safety in the work area **JOB OBJECTIVE** Coordinate and directly supervise packaging line personnel activities during the shift, ensuring achievement of volume targets (boxes per hour) and quality standards, while maintaining discipline and safety in the work area. **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** **FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES** * Shift Start-up: Conduct roll call, assign positions on the line, and verify that machinery and tools are ready for operation. * Line Supervision: Monitor consistent avocado flow and ensure correct application of selection criteria (color, damage, calibers) per customer order. * Personnel Management: Resolve immediate conflicts, report incidents (absences, tardiness), and ensure personnel wear personal protective equipment (hairnets, gloves, boots). * Downtime Control: Identify bottlenecks or mechanical failures and coordinate with maintenance for rapid repairs. * Production Reporting: Complete shift logs (kilograms processed, boxes packed, waste generated) at the end of the shift. * Cleaning and Handover: Ensure the area is clean and orderly for the next shift.
