




Job Summary: Leads the strategy and implementation of the UMS methodology for digital transformation and continuous improvement in manufacturing, eliminating losses and optimizing processes. Digital Transformation Manager Function: Manufacturing Scope: Local Location: Cuernavaca Terms and Conditions: Full-time, on-site position. Role Purpose: Creates, develops, and drives the UMS strategy with management teams for the implementation of pillar leaders and leads UMS methodology requirements, thereby influencing relevant areas within each pillar to achieve business objectives defined by the plant’s Master Plan, creating the route map with necessary activities to meet UMS program requirements across Foundation and Advanced phases. Key Responsibilities: * Comply with company-established safety, health, and environmental requirements to prevent and avoid accidents, injuries, and/or occupational illnesses. * Report any unsafe condition and/or act that may endanger people or company property. * Comply with quality, hygiene, good manufacturing practices, and documentation requirements to ensure product specifications and thus meet customer and consumer expectations. * Use and implement continuous improvement tools from the Unilever Manufacturing System (UMS). * Lead all UMS activities for eliminating losses related to processes within the plant. * Lead activities with pillar leaders for implementing steps according to the Foundation and Advanced route maps. * Develop the UMS master plan based on the plant’s manufacturing strategy, providing UMS training and capability development for all engineers and site managers. * Collaborate with the leadership team to eliminate and reduce losses, improving plant KPIs (e.g., OR, OEE, labor cost savings, etc.). * Support the FI pillar in implementing improvements through required steps for its advancement. * Ensure accuracy of the Loss Tree via MPP Code. * Lead the process of tracking, analyzing, and reviewing downtime (daily, weekly, and monthly reviews). * Establish a loss-reduction improvement system targeting chronic losses, waste reduction, and operational stability. * Lead the UMS team in correctly selecting and using area-specific tools. * Support the FI pillar and assist the UMS Leader in managing UMS pillars within the plant. * Lead the plant’s digitalization process and its critical processes through implementation of the Build App tool. * Create and lead tracking of PM pillar development activities, establishing fundamental maintenance concepts (OT, scheduled maintenance, elimination of chronic losses, EWO). Required Qualifications: * Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or related field (preferred). * 5 years’ experience in methodology or continuous improvement functions. * Problem-solving skills. * Adaptability to change. * Stakeholder management. * Analytical ability. * Advanced English.
