A leading retail company with multi-category sales of home goods and consumables is seeking a **DEMAND PLANNER/RETAIL DEMAND PLANNER** **Education:** Completed bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Actuarial Science, Economics, Business Administration, or related field. \- **Degree holder.** Experience: 1–3 years as a demand planner, procurement supervisor, forecasting analyst, etc. * Analysis of robust databases * Department-level demand analysis * Forecasting and purchase order management * Development of purchase plans vs. projected sales * Generation of management reports Knowledge: * Intermediate English * Inventory management knowledge * Purchase order entry (mandatory) * Intermediate/advanced Excel: (creates charts, performs data analysis, lookups, pivot tables, and reports) * Intermediate Access, Word, PowerPoint * Familiarity with categories: home goods, décor (vases, photo frames), beverages (consumables) * ERP: ORACLE (intermediate/advanced level) * Power BI Skills: * Frustration tolerance * Communication skills * Active listening * Persuasiveness * Dynamism **Key responsibilities:** 1\. Develop department-specific buy plans 2\. Ensure product availability by analyzing sales, seasonality, stock levels, and catalog compliance, guaranteeing adequate NI (Net Inventory) in stores 3\. Implement sustainability strategy within assigned functions to support company objectives 4\. Monitor store and CEDIS inventory daily, as well as deviations versus target inventory levels, to detect and prevent overstock or stockouts 5\. Track new items’ market launch and performance, and implement preventive measures where turnover is low 6\. Collaborate with the Commercial team to place purchases, calculating required quantities to ensure supply across all 4 CEDIS, thereby maintaining communication regarding stores’ anticipated needs and tracking purchase orders from shipment to CEDIS receipt 7\. Track purchase orders from supplier shipment through to receipt 8\. Ensure store allocation suggestions are executed per the Supply Model. **Work schedule:** Monday–Thursday 9:00 AM – 7:00 PM; Friday 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM (remote work option also available) **Salary and benefits:** Salary: $20,000 gross/month + PL (Performance Bonus) + Pass card (13% starting month 3) + Life insurance + Savings fund (5% of salary starting month 6) **Work location:** 10 minutes from Perisur Plaza, Jardines del Pedregal de San Ángel, Coyoacán. **Every Monday, employees go to LERMA** (distribution center); **return time is 6:00 PM**.
