Main Functions and Responsibilities Clinical Care Conduct virtual consultations for evaluation, diagnosis, and management of digestive system disorders. Develop evidence-based treatment plans for conditions such as reflux, gastritis, irritable bowel syndrome, inflammatory bowel disease, fatty liver disease, among others. Request and interpret laboratory, imaging, and endoscopic studies submitted digitally. Identify red-flag signs requiring in-person or urgent care and refer appropriately. Provide clinical follow-up to chronic patients through periodic virtual consultations. Promote preventive medicine. Comply with regulations regarding clinical records and medical consultations. Demonstrate empathy in patient interactions. Guide patients toward comprehensive, interdisciplinary treatments. Documentation and Recordkeeping Record clinical information in electronic health records per health regulatory standards. Issue electronically signed prescriptions and medical instructions with regulatory validity. Keep treatment plans and patient progress notes up to date. Adhere to internal telemedicine and digital triage protocols. Requirements Medical degree license (Cédula Profesional). MANDATORY. Specialty license in Gastroenterology. MANDATORY. Minimum 2 years’ experience as a Gastroenterologist. MANDATORY. Working Conditions: 5-hour workday, Monday through Friday: either 3 PM–8 PM or 4 PM–9 PM. Statutory benefits from day one. Gross monthly salary: MXN 20,000.
