Knowledge: Steel products and materials *(MANDATORY)*, floor-level inventory management, tracking of cyclic inventory schedules, material arrangement according to layout (locations), intermediate Excel skills, ability to break down material lots, responsibility for controlling incoming and outgoing steel materials from your warehouse. **Experience:** Minimum 3 years as Operations Supervisor in a warehouse/stockroom/production setting within the steel or metal-mechanical industry (*PREFERRED*). **Objective:** To control and verify inventories in warehouses and on-site at the plant, ensuring accurate material location and identification aligned with current physical location and lot status. Responsible for auditing on-floor cyclic inventory compliance and generating inventory reports for review and adjustments together with the Inventory Manager. **Skills:** * Empathy and service-oriented attitude * Strong verbal communication skills * Experience managing unionized personnel * Excel proficiency (intermediate) **Competencies:** * Customer orientation and service focus * Analytical thinking and strong problem-solving ability * Familiarity with steel product families (Profiles, Sheets, Structural sections, Coils) * High commitment to achieving results **Key Responsibilities** * Record all material receipt and shipment movements, updating the inventory control report and entering data into the designated system; maintain close coordination with the Inventory Department to ensure per-warehouse control, adhering strictly to processes defined by the Inventory Manager. * Ensure proper storage, distribution, location, and labeling of incoming and outgoing material lots at Aceros Villarreal; guarantee accurate registration in the designated system to enable optimal alignment between physical and system inventory. * Monitor maximum and minimum stock levels for fast-moving materials to ensure supply continuity and prevent excess inventory; update the designated system regularly to maintain reliability between physical and system inventory balances. * Conduct regular inspections to identify missing labels, newly received or subdivided materials not yet reported, enabling prompt administrative action for inventory control. * Immediately report any deviations from established receiving and shipping procedures and processes, notifying the Inventory Manager to implement corrective actions without delay. * Cleanse and update system records for opening balances, reflecting only what is physically present in warehouse operations. * Manage daily transactions simultaneously in both the current internal system and SINUBE, pending final ERP selection and implementation at Aceros Villarreal. **Compensation and Additional Benefits** * Base salary: $15,000–$18,000 MXN monthly (pre-tax), depending on experience + monthly KPI-compliance bonus of $2,500 MXN (tax-free). * Statutory and above-statutory benefits including: Grocery vouchers, punctuality bonuses, attendance awards, savings fund, uniforms, and continuous training for internal development. * Company benefits: Ongoing professional development training, health promotion campaigns, institutional events, summer camp for employees’ children, and emotional salary initiatives supporting holistic well-being (“Bien Ser” and “Bien Estar”) at Aceros Villarreal. * Work tools: Laptop and company mobile phone.
