




Position Summary: We are seeking an Industrial/Chemical Engineer to supervise production teams, ensure compliance with processes and regulations, and participate in continuous improvement initiatives within the pharmaceutical chemical or manufacturing sector. Key Highlights: 1. Leadership and team management in pharmaceutical chemical production/manufacturing. 2. Promotion of Good Manufacturing Practices and official standards. 3. Participation in facility design and new technologies. Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Process Engineering, Chemistry, or related field. Minimum 3 years of experience managing production teams, preferably in the pharmaceutical chemical or manufacturing sector. **Technical Knowledge:** * Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices. * Knowledge of Good Documentation Practices. * Knowledge of Good Storage Practices. * Knowledge of NOM-164-SSA-2015 Good Manufacturing Practices for Pharmaceutical Products. * Knowledge of general, inorganic, and organic chemistry. * Knowledge of unit operations. * Knowledge of critical systems and equipment. * Knowledge of preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance. **Responsibilities:** 1. Supervise and monitor manufacturing processes to ensure compliance with established procedures and instructions, signing work orders at the time the operation is being performed. 2. Promote and ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices policies and standards (including validation, cleaning, sanitization, and maintenance) as well as occupational safety, health, and hygiene guidelines. 3. Direct and supervise, in coordination with respective responsible parties, activities related to procurement, manufacturing, yield, storage, and manufacturing costs. 4. Verify compliance with the annual and monthly production plans, as well as the storage schedule, to maintain productive plant operations. 5. Train production personnel according to agreed-upon training plans. 6. Participate in the design of new facilities and in the implementation of equipment and/or new technologies or new production projects, collaborating with other departments. 7. Collaborate with the Human Resources department in implementing training programs, personnel performance evaluations, and reporting personnel incidents. 8. Support audits when information regarding production equipment, systems, and personnel is required. **Competencies:** Leadership and team management. Problem solving and decision making.
