**DESCRIPTION:** We are seeking a "Mold Technician" responsible for maintaining molds to ensure their proper operation. **TECHNICAL SKILLS** 1. Knowledge of injection molds Types of molds: single-cavity and multi-cavity, cold runner and hot runner. Mold components: cavity, core, ejectors, slides, cores, plates. Clamping, centering, and alignment systems. 2. Injection processes Parameter adjustment: cylinder and mold temperatures injection pressure and speed back pressure cooling and cycle times Mold setup and startup. Optimization of production cycles. 3. Plastic materials Handling of thermoplastics: PP, PE, ABS, PS, PC, PA, PET, POM. Drying of hygroscopic materials. **TECHNICAL RESPONSIBILITIES** Operation and adjustment Mounting and dismounting molds on injection molding machines. Adjusting molds to ensure proper clamping, alignment, and sealing. Initiating production and stabilizing the process. Diagnosis and problem resolution Identifying defects: flash, short shots, warpage, flow lines, burn marks. Correcting issues via mechanical adjustments or parameter tuning. Proposing improvements to mold design or process.
