Preparation and cutting of insulation materials according to specifications Education: Technical degree Knowledge Required: Understanding of insulation material properties Installation of fiberglass, mineral wool, or polyurethane Blueprint reading, layout, and cutting of various types of insulation. Responsibilities: Preparing materials for insulation. Cutting insulating materials to required shapes and sizes. Reviewing plans and specifications required for material installation.
