Work within a team committed to social transformation We are looking for a Mi Development Program Educator to transform lives alongside MAYAMA! We are a non-profit civil society organization with an innovative educational model that, through our Learning Center and community-based work, transforms the lives of girls, boys, and their families living in conditions of high marginalization and violence. Our purpose is to ensure full access to children’s human rights and improve their quality of life. What will you do as a Mi Development Program Educator? You will be responsible for the care of girls and boys at our Day Center, implementing the Mi Development Program, ensuring the delivery of skills and capacities for assertive decision-making and improvement of their quality of life. Candidate Profile Education: Bachelor’s degree in Pedagogy, Educational Psychology, Education Sciences, or related field. Experience: Minimum 6 months to 1 year working with groups of children. Main Responsibilities: - Delivering and overseeing daily sessions with a group of fifteen to nineteen girls and boys. - Planning sessions, activities, or dynamics and developing teaching materials. - Accompanying girls, boys, and MAYAMA families during van transportation to various institutional activities and events. - Maintaining up-to-date information, reports, and group logs through the Information System. - Conducting semester evaluations of program-assigned groups. Technical Competencies and Skills: - Proficient use of Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and the internet. - Experience managing groups of girls and boys. - Warm interpersonal demeanor / Service-oriented attitude. - Proactivity. - Communication skills. Position Details Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 8:30 AM–5:30 PM (100% in-person); Fridays, 9:00 AM–1:00 PM (3 options for remote work). Location: Colonia Los Puestos, Tlaquepaque, Jalisco. Employment Type: Initial 3-month contract, with possibility of permanent placement.
