




Job Summary: Coordinate international shipments, manage import and customs documentation, and ensure compliance with foreign trade regulations. Key Highlights: 1. Negotiation of freight rates and resolution of customs-related incidents. **Main Responsibilities** * Coordinate international shipments (maritime, air, and/or land). * Manage required import documentation (commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, air waybill, customs entry form, certificates of origin). * Follow up with customs brokers and international suppliers. * Verify tariff classification and non-tariff regulations. * Ensure compliance with current regulations before authorities such as the Tax Administration Service (SAT). * Monitor transit times and customs release timelines. * Manage payments of taxes, duties, and logistics expenses. * Resolve customs-related incidents (inspections, holds, incorrect documentation). * Negotiate rates with suppliers and freight forwarders. **Academic Profile** * Bachelor’s degree in International Trade, International Business, Logistics, International Relations, or related field. **Technical Knowledge** * Mexican Customs Law. * Tariff classification (TIGIE). * Non-tariff regulations and restrictions (NOMs, permits). * Customs clearance procedures. * ERP or foreign trade management system. * Intermediate/advanced Excel.
