**Grupo Andersons is seeking a Flexible Cashier in the Hotel Zone – Benito Juárez, Quintana Roo** ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Restaurant Cashier Grupo Andersons is seeking a Restaurant Cashier in Cancún, Downtown Mexico City, and the Hotel Zone We are looking for a Cashier to cover vacations and days off for cashiers across three locations: two in the downtown area and one in the Hotel Zone—responsible and with excellent customer service attitude. This person will be in charge of processing customer payments, handling cash and electronic payment methods, and delivering warm, efficient service to ensure a satisfactory customer experience. Key Responsibilities: * Process payments in cash, credit/debit cards, and other electronic payment methods. * Manage and safeguard petty cash, daily cash reconciliations, and cash counts. * Issue receipts and invoices to customers as required. * Support customer service with courteous and professional interaction. * Comply with company operational policies, internal controls, and procedures. * Maintain a clean, organized cash station stocked with necessary supplies. * Report any discrepancies or incidents identified during cash handling. Requirements: * Minimum 1 year of prior cashier experience, preferably in restaurants. * Basic knowledge of cash handling, bank terminals, and cash reconciliation. * Education: Completed high school diploma (preferred). * Customer-oriented attitude, honesty, and teamwork skills. * Proficiency in point-of-sale (POS) terminals. * Application of internal controls in payment processing and cash reconciliation. * Familiarity with standardized invoicing and record-keeping procedures.
