




Responsibilities: Responsible for the quality, preparation, and presentation of food produced in the assigned kitchen, through close supervision of all aspects of the preparation and production process for menu items served at the assigned food and beverage outlet, with special attention to creativity, composition, seasoning, and presentation to ensure guest and customer satisfaction and earn their recognition and preference. Responsible for the efficiency of subordinates, as well as for maintaining impeccable cleanliness, hygiene, and order in all areas under supervision. * In conjunction with the immediate supervisor, ensures sufficient staffing levels to meet workload requirements within the limits authorized by the applicable staffing plan and based on the forecasted cover count for the relevant period. * Organizes, trains, and supervises staff under supervision to comply with hotel-established policies and procedures regarding discipline, personal appearance and hygiene, working hours, traffic areas, and safety standards. * Assigns shifts and holds daily meetings with staff under supervision to assign daily workloads, provide general information and instructions. * Ensures staff carry out preparations according to established procedures and presentation standards outlined in quality standards, recipes, and photographs, overseeing portion control and minimizing waste in both hot and cold kitchens. * Continuously monitors the efficiency and productivity of all employees in the section while ensuring proper use of supplies and equipment, and monitoring their proper functioning. * Ensures all service to the food and beverage outlet is executed without disruption and that specifications—such as side dishes, cooking degrees, etc.—are met. * Complies with and enforces safety, cleanliness, and hygiene standards across all operational aspects, maintaining the highest hygiene standards.
